B.Sc. Home Science faculty was initially started with 26 regular students on 24 Sep. 1996. Four among the 26 student lived in hostel. In 1998 Arts faculty was included. In the year 2000 new subjects were added in Arts Faculty. In Session 2003-04 Science Faculty was also started. From Session 2005-06 P.G. Classes were started for Sociology, Hindi Literature & English Literature.
From the session 2006-07 M.Sc. Home Sc. Foods & Nutrition started. This facility is given by this college only among the colleges affiliated to the University of Bikaner.
At present session there are more than 1019 regular students and among them 240 students live in the campus hostel. Every year top results are being achieved by the college girls. The students are maintaining the tradition of top results and merit positions consecutively in the university examinations.
